CISF Recruitment New Vacancy 2025
The Home Ministry has also taken a major decision to increase the strength of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) in order to further advance the economic progress of the country. It will now raise the authorised strength of CISF from 1,62,000 to 2,20,000 personnel.
Under the new scheme,
CISF will employ between 120,000 to 140000 personnel per year over the next 5 years. This will not only enable enthusiasm for the force but will also open new job opportunities to youth workers. Clearly, As many as 13230 personnel were recruited in 2024; while the current pension spam army is already recruiting another 24098 more personnel.

The CISF is required in various important sectors such aviation sector which is growing fast, port sector, thermal power plants and also the nuclear installations of the country and even hydro-power plants, besides prison security in Jammu and Kashmir. Fadavi’s said that areas where Naxalism is disappearing will become new industrial hubs and states like Chhattisgarh will get big investments; well, light industries for starters. women candidates?
The recruitment is also expected to have higher number of women candidates as CISF has been taking steps to increase the participation of women in its rank and file. WITH the force having gone up, a new battalion will also be raised and this would serve for internal security as well as for emergency deployments.
