South superstar Vijay Deverakonda starrer ‘Kingdom’ (known by its Hindi title – Samrajya has hit the theaters this weekend on Thursday. The film had a grand opening at the box office and collected Rs 15.75 crore on the first day. (Also Read: And the picture is clear now: It’s success for Kannada cinema) Kingdom has even overtaken the opening day figures of Dhanush’s Kubera and Kamal Haasan’s Thug Life, which raked in Rs 14.75 crores and Rs 15.5 crores respectively. Directed by Mohit Suri is making moolah at the box office. The romantic drama and songs of this film featuring Ahan Pandey and Anit Padda are driving the audience crazy. The film got a bumper opening by earning Rs 21.5 crore on the very first day. The previous day, which was Thursday, the film had collected Rs 6.5 crore and, on Wednesday, it had earned Rs 7.5 crore. This indicates there is a marginal drop in the film’s collections. The ‘Saiyaara’ film has raked in Rs 280.5 crore till now at the box office in just 14 days. The film is on the threshold of Rs 300 crore any time soon. It will become a record.
Hari Hara Veera Mallu?
It has been 8 days since Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’ hit the screens. The film also had a great opening day at the box office with Rs 34.75 crore. But then the film’s earnings fell by a large margin after this. As per the Thursday collection, the film raked in Rs 35 lakh, and on Wednesday, it earned Rs 1.3 crore. Speaking of the overall collection of the movie till now, it has bagged Rs 80.75 crore.

Ashwin Kumar’s animation film ‘Mahavatara Narasimha’ has been doing fantastic in theatres! The film collection on the first day was only Rs 1.75 crore and then the magic of ‘Mahavatara Narasimha’ multiplied and today the collection of ‘Mahavatara Narasimha’ is being increased. On Thursday, the film garnered Rs 7.7 crore and on Wednesday, it earned Rs 7.7 crore. If that is so, the film has accumulated Rs 44.25 crore in 6 days.
