Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 19 fees, charges Rs 120-150 crore
Bigg Boss 19 is ready to be aired on 30th August and the excitement for the show has been soaring as well. A couple of days ago, SCREEN had exclusively reported that this is going to be the longest season of the show. Another update is here about host Salman Khan‘s take home salary for this season. According to a source, Salman Khan’s rumoured fee for the current season ranges between Rs 120-150 crores. For 15 weeks in total, the actor will anchor for and will be paid somewhere between Rs 8-10 crores per weekend. As the source pointed out, the show will stream on OTT with a TV repeat on the same day and hence is being seen as an extension of the OTT edition. Bigg Boss 19 does not have huge budget reasons about that have been reported here and there.
How much did Salman charge for hosting Bigg Boss Rs 96 crore was it?
Salman, who is hosting Bigg Boss OTT 2, had then reportedly charged Rs 96 crores. His fee for Bigg Boss 18 was said to be Rs 250 crores and Rs 200 crores for Bigg Boss 17, also for TV. This time, with other hosts as well, Salman’s fees for this version is more than what he was taking during the previous OTT season. As reported, the new season will be a digital-first property,

and while it will be titled Bigg Boss 19, makers are looking at giving it a tagline to put out the flavour, it did and does, to the digital show. The official social media account of Bigg Boss Taza Khabar had informed earlier this week, stating that Salman Khan shot for the show’s promo on Monday, 21st July, from 2 pm to 12 pm. The promo photo is themed around politics.
Bigg Boss 19 start date, time, hosts, when and where to watch?
If earlier reports are anything to go by then this season Bigg Boss will last for 5 months. Salman Khan will be hosting the first three months post which there will be other guest hosts. Farah Khan, Karan Johar and Anil Kapoor could anchor the show over the last 2 months. Bigg Boss 19 has been rumored to be airing on Jio Hotstar from 30th August. This year, it will be a digital first property with the new episodes streaming first on OTT, followed by its telecast on Colors TV an hour-and-a-half later.

The names of the 20 rumoured contestants are already flying around, even though none of them have been confirmed. Few names who have been approached for the show this year include Gautami Kapoor, Dheeraj Dhoopar, Alisha Panwar, Khushi Dubey, Gaurav Taneja, Mr Faisu, Apoorva Mukhija, Purav Jha, Gaurav Khanna, Dhanashree Verma, Sriram Chandra, Arshifa Khan, Mickey Makeover to name a few.
