Home-grown electric vehicle startup Oben Electric has introduced its new commuter electric bike Rorr EZ Sigma in the Indian market. At an introductory price of about 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom), the new-gen electric commuter bike will be launched as one of the lowest spec battery variant with a capacity of 3.4 kWh. In addition to this, a slightly more potent 4.4 kWh version is also offered which retails for just over Rs 1.25 lakh These prices are for limited introductory periods.
Oben Rorr EZ Sigma- Booking and Delivery?
Bookings on the Rorr EZ Sigma can be made by customers who are keen to purchase the electric bike, at a sum of around Rs 3,000. Interested buyers can now participate test rides of this electric motorcycle from Oben dealerships across the country. The car will be dispatched from August 15, 2025.
Oben Rorr EZ Sigma: Range and Speed?
That power comes from an LFP battery developed by Oben itself made for Rorr EZ Sigma. That promises excellent temperature resistance and durability It has a maximum speed of 95 kmph in both battery options. And it can sprint from 0 to 40 kmph in just about the same time of 3. In terms of the range, the maximum range claimed by IDC is 175km.
Three battery charging and riding modes for Oben Rorr EZ Sigma?
The bike has three riding modes Eco, City and Havoc and supports fast charging. The company claims it can be charged 0-80 percent in just 1.5 hours
Rorr EZ Sigma from Oben: An electric cycle with all the bells and whistles?
The bike now gets a 5-inch TFT color display to offer various information and features such as turn-by-turn navigation call and message alerts music controls trip meter. Besides this, it also acquires a new reverse mode which facilitates low-speed manoeuvring while parking and reversing the bike.
Additionally, the customer will also get a 1-year free subscription for Oben Electric App. With smart features such as remote diagnostics, anti-theft lock, ride tracking and charging station locator. Safety is covered by Unified Brake Assist, Driver Alert System, Geo-Fencing based Theft Protection and wade through water up to 230 mm minimum height.

Design-wise the Rorr EZ Sigma is pretty much a continuation of your last bike. It now gets better looking graphics and new electric red colour. Current color options are Photon White, Electro Amber and Surge Cyan. The rider seat is partially new to ensure comfort on long journeys. It comes with 200 mm ground clearance and 17-inch wide tyres. Which are quite apt for Indian conditions

To sustain the value of the bike, the company has also launched Battery Protect 8/80 plan. On a cost of just Rs 10,000, this scheme offers 8 year/80,000 km battery warranty. Additionally, the resale value is boosted and customers are assured of long lasting performance from a transferable plan.
